FOREST TRAILER WITH HYDRAULIC DRIVE PCN-10
The trailer is adapted to forwarding cut to length of 5,3 – 6,0 m lengths. The hydraulic drive system built in the trailer has been designed for improving traction properties of a tractor aggregated with the trailer in places where due to terrain conditions tractor's wheels lose traction and start to spin.
In such a case the operator can activate supporting drive and leave the area or drive uphill. The drive is activated manually and it turns off automatically after:
a) exceeding a drive speed of 5 km/h
b) decreasing of PTO shaft's revolutions below 800 rpm.
The trailer should be aggregated with tractors equipped with a pick up hitch for one-axle trailers with a maximum pick up hitch load of 21 kN (approximately 2100 kg). To utilize the full payload the tractor should have a proper power, i.e. minimum 90 kW. It is advised to use a tractor with 4 wheels drive.
