5T FOREST TRAILER OTL-223
5T trailers are for transportation of mainly cut-to-length wood of a length between 1,2 – 4,0 m.
They can be used for transportation of timber of different lengths but one must bear in mind that the center of gravity of the load should be located approximately 550 mm towards the front of the rotation axis of bogie swing-arms and the trailer should not be overloaded.
The trailer should be aggregated with tractors equipped with a pick up hitch for single-axle trailers with a minimum load capacity of 16 kN (approximately 1600 kg). To fully utilize the trailers' capacity, the tractor aggregated should have at least 60 kW power and provide proper parameters of external hydraulic system to power the crane and the drawbar steering.
On individual orders the trailer can be produced in different equipment versions (e.g. stiff drawbar).
