The Slash Piling Rake has been designed for a fast cleanup of logging slash on forest areas especially on sites of clearcutting or burned grounds through piling up material.
Slash piled using the rake can be either prepared for removal or shredded on-site and the cleaned up area is prepared for operations enabling its fast recovery. The piled up slash can be left on the ground for a further decay that will in future be a basis for forwarding routes.
Construction of the rakes and specifically designed kinematics of the rake elements' motion allows for slash piling without affecting the undergrowth as well as for an easy obstacle passing e.g. stumps of a height up to 230 mm.
The piling rakes are prepared for mounting on the LKT skidders. After individual arrangements, the rakes can be manufactured adapted for other skidders.
Attaching the rake on a tractor allows for a fast area cleanup and for an immediate proceeding with soil cultivation. Moreover the device improves the efficiency of exploitation of skidders.
The rakes are as a standard prepared to be attached to LKT skidders. Based on individual arrangements the device can be adapted to other vehicles, i.e. tractors, excavators, loaders, as well as they can have shields mounted between the teeth to prevent branches from damaging radiators or drive units.
